How to read or download one of our documents

Before attempting to download any document any materials in pdf format on our website such as the Recorder, public information leaflets and Scottish Legal Aid Handbook, please ensure you have Adobe Reader installed on your computer.

The easiest way to view a document is to just click on the relevant link or button. This will open up the document within the existing web browser window.

If you wish to save the document to your PC for permanent reference, click on the disk icon at the top of the document or select ‘Save As’ from the ‘File’ menu. Alternatively, when you see the link for a pdf document, you can right-click on it and then choose "Save as" to download it to your computer.

If you wish to print the report, simply click on the printer icon (also displayed at the top of the document or located in the ‘File’ menu).
