Watch how to make an advice and assistance application online
Take a look at our applications movie clip, for a taster of how easy to use Legal Aid Online is. You can see how to create and send a civil advice and assistance application including:
- enter solicitor details
- automatically enter repeat clients personal details
- enter details on the subject matter including case categories and brief notes
- enter financial statement information including employment status, number of dependants, benefits and income details, plus see how the system quickly calculates disposable capital/income and contribution amounts
- confirm the applicant’s declaration
- enter the practitioner’s declaration including the amount of initial expenditure sought.
How to view the movie
Your movie will open in a new window and you can monitor the progress via the progress bar. You can also control the movies with the playback control buttons provided at the bottom of the screen:
- Play: plays the movie / or restarts it if Pause has been clicked
- Back: moves you back one step per click
- Forward: moves you forward one step per click
- Pause: pauses the movie until Play is clicked
- X: Exit, closes the movie window
- Rewind: Restarts the movie from the beginning
