Logging a support call
There is a dedicated support line for online queries. You can make a support call by either calling the helpline on 0131 240 2037 or by e-mail online@slab.org.uk. Opening hours are Mon-Thurs 8am 5pm and Fri 8am-4:30pm. Your call will be logged on the support desk system and allocated a reference number.
The basic details we need are your user name for the system, your firm name, a contact telephone number and a brief description of your issue. If the call is about a specific legal aid application the we will ask you for the legal aid reference number.
The support desk will try and resolve you call within 4 hours. In certain circumstances, we may resolve the immediate problem with the application and permanently fix any underlying issues in one of the scheduled updates to the system.
The helpline deal with between 150-200 calls per month and cover the following issues: defects/problems - 25%, password/access - 20% and enquiry/training 55%.
