Our new online e-learning courses let you find out how to use Legal Aid Online. You can learn about the topics that are of the most interest to you, at your own pace.
They are available to everyone - whether you are already using Legal Aid Online or just thinking about it - and offer a range of course modules.
The courses explain how to navigate the online system, and allow you to practise entering infromation and submitting applications. You can navigate around the courses at your own pace – a help section explains how to do this.
The course assumes you are already familiar with paper-based advice and assistance and legal aid applications (and other subsequent stages) and accounts. (If you need to know more about these, refer to the legal assistance handbooks.)
(The e-learning pack is still partially under development, and the section on criminal sanctions is not yet available.)
Course structure
The course is made up of eight modules - but remember you only need to study the topics you need. The course modules and their length (approximate) are:
- Module 1: Getting started - 15 minutes
- Module 2: Administration (Firm Administrators only) -15 minutes
- Module 3: Attachments - 10 minutes
