National Fraud Initiative

We are required by law to protect the public funds we administer. We may share information provided to us with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds, in order to prevent and detect fraud.

Section 31 powers, exclusion decisions and procedure

Details of the procedure SLAB will follow in determining whether to exclude a solicitor or advocate under Section 31 of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986.
