contactSCOTLAND BSL service extended

The contactSCOTLAND British Sign Language service is expanding to help deaf people across the country.

The service, which is funded by the Scottish Government, is now available 24 hours a day throughout the year.

It is has also been extended so that deaf and deafblind people can call private phone numbers. This could include firms who carry out legal assistance work. Previously only public and third sector organisations were covered by the service.
