Shelter (with One Parent Families Scotland) - Tackling Money Worries with Families of Young children in Dundee

Families in Dundee, particularly lone parent families, will be provided with help to manage their finances better. The service provides a full range of face to face debt advice, which can be provided at outreach clinics or through home visits, and financial capability support to help families handle finances better. The project all provides flexible and affordable childcare services to enable families to attend appointments with the Money and Debt Advisor.

This national project helps people who are affected by debt and connected welfare benefit changes. DAS  accredited advisers are able to help people with complex debt issues

Dundee CAB - Tayside Court Advice Service The In Court Advisors provide advice and assistance to those with consumer and debt issues who are considering raising/pursuing/defending small claims and summary cause actions. They can provide advice, negotiate, assist with form completion and help guide you through the court process.

Shelter Scotland Housing Law and Debt Advice Project

The project aims to help people stave off evictions and repossessions in Tayside and the Boarders. Representation is provided to clients facing heritable court eviction and mortgage repossession actions and also ensures that people who are homeless and have not been able to obtain appropriate alternative accommodation are able to access local advice, assistance and representation.
