A&A charges for Criminal Injuries Compensation Agency work: no fees payable for precognitions

The policy department of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Agency has confirmed that generally a precognition is not required in a CICA application. The completion of the form, even for an appeal case, is normally sufficient. CICA undertake all investigations relating to the claim. We will only consider meeting the cost of obtaining a precognition in the event that CICA has specifically asked for it.
