The programme will fund projects designed to improve access to free debt advice by assisting with the development of changes to working practices that help manage demand on services and improve people’s experience of seeking advice.

Are you an adviser looking for help with clients' problems?
We administer funding for a project to provide assistance to frontline providers to help with their clients’ debt and housing problems. This project focuses on helping advisers:
Know what changes to the benefits system are ahead that may affect people’s money or housing.
Help to spot possible and existing debt and money issues for clients and suggest ways of managing these.
Check ways of preventing evictions and homelessness.
Signposting and referral to appropriate organisations for further help.
