Procedure for withdrawing from giving advice and assistance
If you want to stop giving advice and assistance to your client for a particular matter you must:
Give us notice of your withdrawal and your reasons for withdrawing
Explain to your client that they must get our permission before receiving advice and assistance on the same subject matter from another solicitor [Regulation 13 of the Advice and Assistance (Scotland) Regulations 1996]
