Reporters encourage children to have a pre hearing visit to show them where the hearing will take place and where they wait before the hearing starts.

Unless exceptional circumstances can be demonstrated, we will not grant you an increase to accompany a child to a pre hearing visit as there is no legal content involved here. Someone else such as their parent, carer or social worker is likely to be more suited to accompany them.
