United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)

The United Nations Convention on the rights of the child (UNCRC) attributes rights and freedoms to children in an internationally binding human rights agreement. The convention has 54 articles, 42 of which set out the rights of children and young people, 12 set out how governments must publicise and carry out the convention.

We are committed to the implementation of UNCRC rights, through complying with rights provisions and duties within the 2014 Act, which we monitor through progress reports.
