Contacting us – please use email unless urgent

We are currently rolling out a new telephone system. This has meant that we have had to make changes to the phone system while that is being done.

Over the next few weeks this may mean you have difficulties getting through to some of our telephone lines.

The issues have particularly affected calls to our Civil Merits team but other areas may experience issues as the roll out continues.

Please email the relevant team that you wish to contact using the address on our Contact us page and we will respond promptly.

If your query is urgent you can still telephone us, but if you cannot get a reply then we recommend that you contact the team by email.

If possible we will respond to your query by email, but where you need to speak to someone we will call you.

Our emails are monitored during business hours, and will be dealt with as a matter of priority.  However, if your enquiry is urgent please make sure that this is clear from your email.

We hope that you will bear with us while we carry out this work to help us improve our service.
