The redesigned version of our website is now live.
The site is more accessible, mobile-friendly and easier to navigate.
We have refreshed the Solicitor Finder and the Eligibility Estimators that you can use to work out if you’re eligible for legal aid.
For the legal profession, a key part of the new site will be a revised format for the legal aid guidance currently found in the existing Handbooks.
There is still a lot more work to be done on the content in this section post-launch. This will be continuing in the months to come.
But the new format and improved search on the new platform will hopefully make the guidance much more useful and accessible.
