We’re looking for a highly organised and reliable assistant to provide essential administrative support to our Assurance team.

This part-time position plays a key role ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the team, maintaining accurate records, coordinating workloads, and acting as a central point of contact. Working closely with a small, supportive team, you’ll help ensure work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Note that applicants need to be studying the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate electronic files, records and databases
  • Preparing and managing correspondence, including sorting and assigning incoming mail
  • Managing team task queues and distributing casework across the Assurance team
  • Acting as the first point of contact, handling calls and enquiries
  • Inputting and managing data, including maintaining Excel spreadsheets and running reports
  • Supporting diary management and scheduling within the team
  • Scanning and organising documents into case files
  • Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and keyboard proficiency
  • Experience or understanding of filing systems and diary management
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks
  • Attention to detail and a reliable, methodical approach to work
  • The ability to work as part of a team and follow processes effectively
  • To be currently studying (or due to start) the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
