Civil legal aid already in place

Advice and assistance cannot be provided to your client in connection with proceedings before a court or tribunal at a time when they are receiving legal aid [Section 7(2) of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986]. You cannot continue to provide parallel advice and assistance after the date of the civil legal aid grant.

You can revert to the advice and assistance if you need to seek an extension to the civil grant to include any additional craves or opponents.
