Outlays should always be included in your account but in a separate column and totaled separately from work chargeable as a fee.

Receipts and vouchers

To help us assess your account please send us, where appropriate, the following with your account:

  • Receipts and detailed vouchers for all payments claimed.
  • All advocates’ fee notes.

For paper accounts where you have made interim claims for outlays you should still send us copies of all vouching.
