Two new Board members appointed by Minister

Ash Denham MSP, the Minister for Community Safety, has announced the appointment of two new members to the Scottish Legal Aid Board, Gerry Bann and Brigid Whoriskey.

Their appointments will be for three years, running from 1 April 2021 until 31 March 2024.

Gerry Bann has specialised in Criminal Law since 1992, with extensive experience in the operation of criminal courts and the wider criminal justice system.

Brigid Whoriskey is an experienced Non-Executive Director and is currently Vice Chair of Causeway and a Trustee of the international humanitarian charity Tong-Len UK.
