Access to information
You can read our leaflet on Access to information (in pdf format) to help explain what information you can get from the Board under data protection and Freedom of Information laws. This leaflet explains:
how you will find out what information we hold about you
how we will treat any information that we hold about you
how you can get access to other records and official information we keep
Our Guide to Information tells you what information we publish through the Publication Scheme.
We publish a disclosure log which details some of the requests for information that we have answered.
There is also a separate leaflet that explains your rights under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
How to request information that we regularly publish (and is listed in our Publication Scheme)
We aim to provide as many as possible of the items from our Publication Scheme on this website. This should be the first place to access information and our website has a search function that can help you find the information you want.
You can also ask for items from our Publication Scheme by telephone, e-mail, fax or in writing. If you want paper copies of any documents in our scheme, please contact us.
How to contact us:
email@example.com - please only use this e-mail address if your query is about freedom of information.
If you have any other type of query, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please call 0131 240 2060 or 0131 240 2191.
You may prefer to visit us in person to ask for or get information from our Publication Scheme. It is helpful if you contact us first to arrange an appointment.
