When fresh grants of advice and assistance (not ABWOR) are required in 2011 Act Proceedings

Where you are providing only advice and assistance to your client and not ABWOR for actual representation at a children’s hearing under the 2011 Act, the category code to select is CHSA.

You can seek increases to advise on any children’s hearings fixed, even if they are not deferred hearings.

However, to prevent any unnecessary continuations from us we would suggest that if you have not provided your client with advice in the last six months, you make a fresh grant of advice and assistance.  This will ensure that you are paid timeously for work carried out and prevent associated lengthy files and accounts to submit.
