Changing the Chemistry with a Board recruitment event this Thursday 23 November

Scottish Ministers are seeking to appoint a Chair, a legal member (Civil: Faculty of Advocates), a legal member (Law Society of Scotland) and a non-legal member to our Board.

Changing the Chemistry – a charity dedicated to increasing diversity of thought on boards – will be hosting an online event on Thursday 23 November at 6pm, where you can find out more about the Scottish Legal Aid Board from our Chair, Ray Macfarlane, Chief Executive, Colin Lancaster, and some of our current Board Members.

There will also be a Q&A session where you can put your questions to the panel after an overview of what the roles entail, and there will be practical advice, hints and tips on the application and interview process.

You can register for this event free at Eventbrite

Current Board Members Lesley Ward (legal) and Stephen Humphreys (non-legal) share their insight into their experience of being on the SLAB Board in the videos below.

Should you require any further information about the event, or the recruitment campaign, please contact CEO@slab.org.uk

The closing date for applications is Thursday 7 December5pm.
