Judith is a graduate in Economics and Economic History from the University of Glasgow, and holds an MSc in International Development, also from Glasgow.
From 2016 - 2022 she was the full time Chair of the Scottish Human Rights Commission. Prior to this Judith was the Programme Director of See Me, Scotland’s national mental health anti-stigma programme, and Head of Oxfam Scotland - a position she held for nine years.
She has worked extensively on social justice issues in Scotland and brings her experience of delivering a human rights-based approach on access to justice to the Board of SLAB, as well as extensive experience working with and for the voluntary sector in Scotland.
