Keeping LAOL secure: Are you registered with ScotAccount?

We are moving to the Scottish Government’s ScotAccount in March. This is a secure and simple way to sign into Legal Aid Online (LAOL).

We are starting twice-weekly webinars from 17 February to help with the move – see below.

We are holding webinars on using ScotAccount to login to LAOL. We will answer any questions or issues you have about the process.

These will be held twice weekly from Tuesday 17 February at the following times:

• Tuesdays 4pm
• Thursdays 11:30am

Details of how to join the webinars will be given on the banner when you log into LAOL.

What do you need to do? 

When we start using ScotAccount to login to LAOL you must: 

• Have a LAOL user account with your own individual logon and password

• Check your email address on LAOL – see our Step 1 guidance and video 

• Create a ScotAccount – see our Step 2 video showing the process for registering with ScotAccount. 

Our dedicated webpage also has all the information you need to ensure no interruption in your access to LAOL when we move to ScotAccount.
