LAOL downtime scheduled: Wednesday 16 July, 5:30pm – New Block Transfer form

Access to Legal Aid Online (LAOL) will be unavailable on Wednesday 16 July from 5:30pm until 7pm.

Apologies for any inconvenience this essential deployment downtime causes as we try to minimise service disruption at peak times.

Deployment details

We will release a new updated version of the online block transfer form on Wednesday 16 July. This is the next form to be upgraded using the new system design.

System design improvements

As part of the updated design, we have improved the wording of the questions based on feedback from system users.

Guidance

A short video recording of how to use the new form is available within the E-learning and online guidance section of our website.

Webinars – sign up

We are currently holding webinars demonstrating how to use the form, with guidance on when to use it, such as confirming you should only block move cases still actively being worked on.

We hold weekly webinars and feedback so far has been welcomed and positive.

We will continue to hold these webinars over the next few weeks, so please do join us if you can – information will be available within the LAOL banner.
