All roles involve the provision of targeted social welfare legal services, in line with our current business plan and concentrating on the rights of people who are disadvantaged. We work closely with other advice providers and support agencies as part of our work to triage and refer some cases to other solicitors, advisors or support organisations.
These roles are based in Inverness, Aberdeen and Edinburgh, covering the Highland and Islands (where we are one of the largest group of legal aid practitioners); Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire; and Edinburgh and the Lothians respectively. As part of the CLAO network, you will have opportunities to travel to and practise in courts throughout the location your post serves and sometimes further afield.
