Legal Aid Online


Legal aid online allows firms to easily and securely apply for, progress and track legal aid applications and accounts electronically. It is available through the internet.


Did you know:

  • 100% of firms are now using Legal Aid Online to process all their legal aid applications.
  • Currently, nearly 90% of firms are using Legal Aid Online for some or all of their accounts.

Latest update

Update - 5 September 2012 - We are currently introducing a new debt management system which will improve our handling of debts owed to the Board, such as contributions and expenses. It will also bring a number of benefits, including the ability for people to pay by direct debit. Read more

Update - 20 July 2012 - We are making significant changes to the Legal Aid Online financial verification process for Advice and Assistance, which will be implemented from Friday 27th July 2012. The changes are detailed here.
