New plans online for Children’s Duty Scheme – 27 June 2016 to 25 June 2017

Tuesday, Jun 14, 2016

The Children’s Hearings Duty Plans for the next 12 months are now available on our website. These plans cover the period 27 June 2016 to 25 June 2017.

You should check the dates that your firm has been allocated during the period 27 June 2016 to 25 June 2017.

If you have been allocated dates which you are unable to cover, you must inform us by 5pm on Wednesday 22 June 2016 to allow us to make alternative arrangements.

Unless we receive notification that your firm is unable to provide cover on a specified date(s), we will expect your firm to provide cover on the dates allocated to you.

These may include bank, public and local holidays. If you subsequently become aware of any reason you will not be able to provide cover you should tell us as soon as possible.

For details of the statutory provisions relating to the children’s duty scheme and information on the current payment arrangements for duty scheme solicitors, please see the eligibility criteria.
